Khabarovsk Diesel Building Works (Daldiesel), a public company, is one of the oldest and famous enterprises of the Russian Far East. It was founded in 1902. Today’s Daldiesel is a major machine-building company comprising foundry, press, welding, mechanical and assembly departments. The Works also has a test department and a number of auxiliary workshops – tool, repair, electrical, woodworking and other shops.

Diesel units produced are widely used as main engines and diesel-generators on sea, river and fishing vessels. There are over 60 versions of diesel machinery produced by the Works. These are widely used in all ship-operating branches of national economy and as stationary electric power-generation plants. Many are used in the propulsion of Russian SeaRiver type DryCargo Ships
